About this event
The energy of Bertrand Chamayou’s chamber music partnership with Vilde Frang stems from their interaction as artists always ready to take creative risks in search of musical depth and meaning. Their programme includes Bartók’s fervent Violin Sonata No. 1, written in the closing months of 1921 for the Hungarian violinist Jelly d’Arányi and first performed by her and the composer in London the following year.
