Felipe, an elderly Italian man who became a Cuban citizen, spends his final days in Havana accompanied by his son Pepe and Jimmi, his doctor, whose life as a drag performer named Estrellita reveals a hidden side of himself. After Felipe’s death, Pepe and Jimmi embark on a journey to Baracoa that will lead them to discover new perspectives on family, memory, and identity. An intimate and sensitive portrait of the bonds that connect us, the freedom to be who we are, and the unexpected encounters that can transform the course of a life.
