Banda Brasileira Directed by Shanti Jayasinha RBC Banda Brasileira is a large ensemble which explores the many-faceted music of Brazil, from Samba and Baião to the folkloric music from the North East of Brazil - Maracatú, Ijexá and Samba Reggae. We don't forget the sophisticated sound of Bossa Nova which sprung up in the clubs of Rio de Janeiro in the early 1960s. Running time approx. two hours and 30 minutes
