To mark the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic albums of the 20th Century, Ashley Allen & Friends return to the Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space for an unforgettable live performance of Stevie Wonder’s Songs In The Key of Life — presented in full and in original track order. Relive the magic of timeless classics including Superstition, I Wish, Sir Duke, and Isn’t She Lovely, as this groundbreaking Motown album (originally recorded by over 130 musicians!) is given the Birmingham treatment by an exceptional collective of musical talent from across the city and the West Midlands. Led by Ashley Allen, the lineup features outstanding vocalists and musicians, including Josie Soden and Francis Mott (with more to be announced soon), promising a rich, powerful, and authentic celebration of Stevie’s sound.
