About this event
Flushed into the sewers as a baby, Ramón survives by feeding on laboratory animals pumped full of experimental growth hormones. Twelve years later he is enormous, ravenous and heading for the surface, leaving weary detective David Madison and a reptile expert to confront the city’s least plausible urban legend. Lewis Teague and screenwriter John Sayles deliver the rare *Jaws* imitation with teeth: a grubby, funny and surprisingly sharp monster movie, powered by Robert Forster’s deadpan charm and a magnificent thirty-six-foot rubber alligator.
