Marking 20 years since the passing of legendary Malian guitarist Ali Farka Touré, his former bandmate and protégé Samba Touré returns to celebrate the music that shaped his life. After touring the world alongside Ali as a guitarist and backing vocalist, Samba went on to forge his own acclaimed career while carrying forward the spirit of Malian desert blues. This special concert honours his mentor with a powerful selection of beloved classics and lesser-known gems, reimagined in Samba’s own distinctive style.
