Kate Davis is a wealthy young woman who is kidnapped by a secret organisation known as the Brotherhood, a society of self-proclaimed vampires who reveal that she is a descendant of the infamous Elizabeth Bathory. Taken to a remote facility, she is subjected to psychological conditioning as the group attempts to awaken her supposed vampire heritage and force her to accept their way of life. One of the strangest entries in Australian horror cinema, the film reimagines vampirism as a modern underground society rather than a supernatural curse, replacing gothic castles with clinical laboratories, blood farms, and corporate-style organisation. Blending science fiction, horror, and social satire, it creates an unsettling vision of immortality, elitism, and control.

Not the same tradition as the lineage above — a genuinely different thread to pull, if you want one.
