George Hardy is a shepherd living in a quiet English rural community, keeping himself to himself, and reading crime books to his flock every evening. Little does he know that they understand every word, and when he is discovered dead, the sheep suspect foul play and start to investigate under the noses of the incompetent local police. The talking sheep are voiced by an array of British and American screen talent and Emma Thompson delivers a great cameo as George’s solicitor. Think Babe meets The Thursday Murder Club.
