About this event

A Wednesday night of New Orleans funk, jazz and blues as ace drummer, singer and bandleader Roy Pfeffer brings his trio in for a special night of deep cuts and originals. Pfeffer is best known as the driving force behind The Big Smoke Family, regulars at Ronnie Scott’s and festival headliners. His trio strips things back, bringing those same street-parade roots, Mardi Gras beats, jazz tradition and funky grooves into a more intimate setting. He’s joined by Marcus Bonfanti on guitar and vocals, former frontman of Ten Years After and leader of the long-running Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion residency, and Holley Gray on bass, The Big Smoke Family’s own bassist and leader of critically acclaimed soul band Wonder 45. Expect a night of good tunes, good grooves, and brand new music. Jamboree food option : Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish! Find the menu HERE ! JAMBOREE IN ACTION! Come and enjoy a night of fantastic live jazz, blues and funk music in London!
