Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Fifth Pan-African Congress, which took place at Chorlton-on-Medlock Town Hall, Manchester, from 15 to 19 October 1945. This meeting of activists, intellectuals and political leaders, including three future presidents, is highly regarded as a catalyst for the huge amount of subsequent decolonial African independence movements that followed it.

Not the same tradition as the lineage above — a genuinely different thread to pull, if you want one.
