About this event

Taika Waititi's quirky adventure comedy returns to the DLC to honour the late, great Sam Neill, as well as marking the film's 10th anniversary. After moving to rural New Zealand, Ricky - a rebellious eleven-year-old with a passion for hip-hop - is settling into his new life, being looked after by his loving Aunt Bella, grumpy Uncle Hec and his dog Tupac. However, after tragedy strikes, Ricky's newfound peace is threatened, forcing him to go on the run in the bush with his uncle. As newly-minted outlaws, the pair face a tough choice: go out in a blaze of glory or overcome their differences and survive as a family.
