“South Norwood Jazz Club” is a monthly Jazz night with different musicians performing every month at the Stanley Arts Gallery. This month South London’s stalwart double bassist Chris Hyde-Harrison returns to South Norwood Jazz Club, this time joined by exceptional alto saxophonist Donovan Haffner – winner of the ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ category at the Jazz FM Awards 2026. And incredible pianist Sam Leak, who has been described as “one of the brightest young stars in the jazz piano galaxy, a heavenly improviser and a brilliant prospect for the future.” Helen Mayhew, JazzFM Band Lineup Chris Hyde Harrison – Double Bass and Host Donovan Haffner – Alto Saxophone Sam Leak – Piano Doors 7pm Music from 7.30pm – 9.15pm with an interval The concert is seated but is a relaxed performance, people are free to go to the bar during the live music. All the money from tickets goes straight to the musicians.
