Patrick Massey performs an enchanting recital spanning the lush romanticism of Scriabin, the luminous soundscapes of Debussy, and the vibrant rhythms of Ginastera. Alexander Scriabin Prelude and Nocturne for left hand, Op.9 Claude Debussy Preludes, Book 1 Alberto Ginastera Danzas Argentinas, Op.2 Patrick Massey studied music at Cambridge and continued to develop his musical interests while embarking on a legal career in London. He performs piano recitals regularly and in 2014 co-founded The Pico Players, an amateur orchestra based in London. He continues to be closely involved in the orchestra and frequently conducts them, a recent highlight being a performance of Holst’s The Planets at Cadogan Hall. In 2023 Patrick performed Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the orchestra at St James’ Piccadilly.
