A landmark celebration of over 1000 years of Gaelic poetry This unique event will weave together Gaelic voices of the past and the words of our greatest living poets, presented through live performance, music, and visual projection. Welcoming Gaelic speakers and non-Gaelic speakers alike, all poems read will be accompanied by on-screen english translations. Featuring Peter MacKay, Anne Frater, Niall O’ Gallagher, Sandy MacDonald Jones, Rody Gorman, Marcas Mac an Tuairnear, Martin MacIntyre, Maoilios Campbell, Christopher Whyte, Meg Bateman Alasdair Whyte Gillebride MacMillan Claire Frances MacNeil Ingrid Henderson Projections created by Cashlin MacKenzie A Glasgow Life event, supported by Creative Scotland and Bòrd na Gàidhlig. Part of the fringe programme leading up to the Royal National Mòd 2026 in Glasgow.
