The 2022 winner of the Riga International Jazz Voice competition, Louise Balkwill has been hailed as one of the finest singers of her generation. Most recently touring with celebrated vocal harmony trio The Puppini Sisters tonight Louise will be featuring songs from her brand-new album, “Chatterbox”, a vibrant love letter to classic vocal jazz. Following its release earlier this year "Chatterbox" reached No. 5 in the Jazzwise Album Chart and received widespread critical acclaim, Jazzwise praising the album as "a delightful celebration” and Bebop Spoken Here hailing it as "a top contender for Vocal Album of the Year". Known for her powerful stage presence Louise brings her trademark warmth, wit and thrilling musicianship to the gig, with a collection of sparkling new compositions and fresh re-tellings of beloved standards.
