Listening Back! comes to The Glad Cafe for its first in-person Glasgow event, part of a month-long community fundraiser supporting Listen Gallery's move to a new accessible space. The evening opens with a GACO-hosted Open Session, a chance for anyone to gather and improvise together, embodying the collective listening and mutual aid at the heart of the campaign. The night closes with a performance from Ae Ensemble (Masha Zhuravlova, Annabel Stevens, Celia Griffiths — violin; August Zillig, Lauren Jack — viola; Ellamay Mantie — cello), presenting a programme spanning old and new: Taner Kemirtlek's Mungo's Pavane, a lament for Glasgow's lost cultural spaces; Felix Rösch's four-part Fragmente; Locatelli's Concerto Grosso in C minor; Raphaella Aleotti's Miserere Mei, Deus; and John Tavener's The Lamb. All proceeds support Listen Gallery's new premises.
