Join us for a relaxed crafting social in the SOAS Gallery, set against the backdrop of Embroidery Traditions of Afghanistan – a stunning new exhibition celebrating the richness and skill of Afghan textile traditions from the Karun Thakar collection, developed in collaboration with the V&A Museum. Whether you're mid-project or just starting out, come along, find a seat, and stitch in good company. This is a laid-back social session – no instruction, no agenda, just good conversation and creativity surrounded by beautiful embroidery. And yes, the gallery is air-conditioned – a rare treat for a London August. Equipment and materials No equipment or materials will be provided.
