Circus Parade is a new musical inspired by Jim Tully’s 1927 novel, exploring life inside an early 1900s travelling circus. Blending blues-inspired music with physical storytelling and circus disciplines, the piece reveals the raw, human reality behind the spectacle—centering voices of outsiders, survival, exploitation and fleeting moments of connection.
