Peckham Digital showcases London’s most exciting creative computing communities, with performances, drop‑in workshops and interactive artworks. Dive into creative tech with those most engaged with exploring all its possibilities and capabilities. Peckham Digital has been providing audiences with ‘hands-dirty’ activity for the past four years: hands-on workshops with the aim to create something which is easily replicable at home. The ‘hands-dirty’ practice demystifies the idea that technology is only for specialists. Immerse yourself and get your hands dirty with engaging drop‑in workshops, fascinating performances and innovative interactive artworks. Featuring: AlgoRhythms, Compiler, enorê, Future Inventions, Identity2.0, In-grid, Lady Ludd, Lagtime Seedling, London Community Laptop Orchestra, London Pattern Club, Moth, MUSICxCODE, Clara Che Wei Peh, Permacomputing, Phreaking Collective, Rock and Robots, Shaheer Tarar, THE UNSEEN and Ubeboobey (Annike Tan). Peckham Digital showcases creative computing communities grounded in a ‘do-it-with-others’ approach that foregrounds collaboration, peer learning and accessible pathways into digital practice. This event has been curated by Bea Taylor Searle, the co-founder and co-director of Peckham Digital and a member of SORI Collective (Speaking Out, Reimagining Institutions) – a group of forward-thinking cultural programmers shaping the future of the arts – as part of Southbank Centre Presents. Peckham Digital is a community interest company that hosts an annual festival celebrating creative computing. Bea Taylor Searle one of nine programmers within the Southbank Centre Presents cohort. She is currently pursuing a practice-based PhD at the Centre for the Study of the Networked Image. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (with Creative Computing) from Central Saint Martins and a PGCert in Digital Curation from Salford University, where she explored methods for documenting artworks that incorporate soon-to-be obsolete technologies. Creative Intelligence is commissioned and produced by the Southbank Centre. Curated with PACT – Planetary Art Culture Technology.
