John Kitchen (organ) Bach is generally considered to be the greatest of all composers for the organ, and was of course himself a celebrated player. Original organ compositions will include the virtuosic Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C (BWV564,) the Pièce d’Orgue, and one or two of the ‘Eight short preludes and fugues’ (which may have been written by a pupil). John will also include one or two transcriptions: the beautiful and serene funeral piece ‘Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit’ and the Sinfonia in F from Cantata 156.

Not the same tradition as the lineage above — a genuinely different thread to pull, if you want one.
