Scotland’s leading inclusive dance company, Indepen-dance, presents Gathered Together 2026 from Wednesday 2 - Saturday 5 September. Over four days, the festival will host performances, workshops and presentations from some of the world’s leading inclusive dance organisations. Evening Performance - Thursday 3 September Gathered Together presents work from Scotland, Germany, Colombia and The Netherlands: Clifftop Intergenerational Dance Company (Scotland) Strength that sculpts the air Clifftop explores strength and vulnerability in this new work. Szene 2wei (Germany) ZEDER Inspired by the wisdom of the cedar tree, ZEDER becomes a poetic journey between darkness and light, inviting audiences to celebrate life, energy and togetherness through powerful movement and imagery. ConCuerpos Dance Company (Colombia + The Netherlands) Focaris Inspired by the Latin root for ‘home’ (focaris), this international co-production brings together artists from Colombia and the Netherlands to explore fire as a symbol of encounter, transformation and inner strength. Inspire (Scotland) Innerlight Innerlight tells the story of finding the confidence to step out of the shadows and into who we truly are. As light passes from dancer to dancer, generation to generation, it becomes clear: when one shines, we all shine.
