Martial arts superstar Billy Lo finds himself targeted by a powerful criminal syndicate determined to exploit his fame for their own gain. Refusing to submit to intimidation, Billy is forced into a deadly confrontation that culminates in an ascent through a towering pagoda, where each level presents a formidable new opponent testing a different style of combat. Left unfinished following Bruce Lee's death in 1973, Game of Death was eventually completed by Golden Harvest using body doubles, archive footage and newly shot material under director Robert Clouse. Although the finished film differs dramatically from Lee's original vision, its climactic pagoda sequence—featuring unforgettable encounters with masters including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dan Inosanto—remains among the most celebrated martial arts scenes ever filmed. The film's yellow-and-black jumpsuit has since become one of the most enduring images in action cinema.
