What song would you save for the future? Ten of today’s most forward-thinking writers share their work and the songs that stir them for you to move to. What would be the soundtrack to your oncoming life? What melody would you need years from now? How could you say this in a letter? Come chill and find out at this edition of Inua Ellams’ Rhythm and Prose Party, inspired by Letters to the Future and our 75th anniversary. The format is simple: ten writers each share a piece of work followed by two songs for the DJ to play – and for you to move to. Join us in a house-party chill atmosphere, hearing from actor and activist Khalid Abdalla, performer and writer Travis Alabanza, journalist Iman Amrani, poet Anthony Anaxagorou, poet and playwright Inua Ellams, author Ashley Hickson-Lovence, musician Che Lingo, poet Rachel Long, author Caitlin O’Ryan and author Joelle Taylor. In collaboration with Out-Spoken, founded by poet Anthony Anaxagorou.
