Evelyne Berezovsky Opening: Josiah Wade Book Now Home / Events / Evelyne Berezovsky Opening: Josiah Wade Evelyne Berezovsky has performed concertos with the Tokyo Mozart Players under Xavier Roth, Musica Viva under Alexander Rudin, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra under Andris Poga, Thailand Symphony Orchestra and Czech Philharmonic under Gudni Emilsson, Hulencourt Soloists Chamber Orchestra under Giuseppe Montesano and the Enschede Symphony Orchestra under Jaap wan Zweden amongst others. Born in Moscow in 1991 Evelyne started playing the piano at the age of 5 and appeared with an orchestra for the first time at the age of 11 playing Mozart’s Concerto K415. She has studied with the renowned professors Hamish Milne (London), Elisso Virssaladze (Italy), Rena Shereshevskaya (Paris) and recently has been working with Maria João Pires in Portugal. An alumnus of World Heart Beat, taught by Classical pianist and composer Michael Csányi-Wills and the Julian Joseph Jazz Academy where he was mentored by jazz legend Julian Joseph, Josiah is developing a musical voice that moves effortlessly between jazz and classical traditions. Now making waves nationally, Josiah recently captivated audiences on Channel 4’s The Piano, showcasing his extraordinary artistry, and expressive musicianship and his remarkable talent has also been recognised by Grammy and Academy Award-winning musician Jon Batiste, who described him as “a refreshing musician with the potential to make a huge impact on the music world.” Josiah brings imagination, sensitivity and remarkable connection to every performance.
