Michael Snow’s *Corpus Callosum is a playful digital odyssey in which office workers and families find their bodies, clothes and furniture distorted by unseen forces. Walls stretch, people duplicate, and the image itself seems to rewrite reality in real time. Its companion short Sshtoorrty superimposes two halves of a scene, compressing a small drama into overlapping gestures and flickering contradictions. Snow’s work shares Lynch’s fascination with unstable images—less narrative, more dream logic, especially echoing the uncanny aesthetic approach of films like Rabbits (2002) and Inland Empire (2006). Here the Lynchian emerges as formal experimentation: the screen as a shape-shifting creature. With an accompanying essay and introduction by Cinema Year Zero.
