This recital explores the piano music of Korean composer Isang Yun , one of the most significant figures in twentieth-century contemporary music. Combining Western modernist techniques with East Asian philosophical thought, Yun developed a distinctive musical language centred on resonance, transformation, and evolving sound. The programme presents three works that reflect different aspects of his compositional voice and invites audiences to experience sound not as isolated events, but as continuously unfolding musical gestures.
