Hearts of Flesh Biblical songs by Chris Little Here I stand on the brink I thirst yet cannot drink I think yet cannot think In Hearts of Flesh , Chris Little, an emerging singer/songwriter, will perform an extraordinary new set of poetic guitar songs unearthing the beauty and strangeness of the Bible for the 2020s, backed by a virtuoso band. Drawing from the depths of the Old Testament, Chris charts a still, quiet path through the redemptive beauty of Ezekiel's visions, the metaphysical tenderness of the Psalms, and the ethical apocalypse of Amos, straight towards the wondrous light shining in the parched desert of the Gospel of Mark. Channelling the spirit of some of the great singer/songwriters of the 1960s and 70s, this is a singular and beautiful new set of songs for our time, surveying the precipice of destruction with an insistence on gentleness and hope - performed for the first time with a four-piece band. Doors open 7pm, Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!

Not the same tradition as the lineage above — a genuinely different thread to pull, if you want one.
