Following its debut at the United Nations in 2024 and a critically acclaimed, five-star run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025, A Panorama of Hunan returns to the UK as part of its 2026 international tour. Performed by leading artists from China’s renowned Hunan Song and Dance Theatre, this concert offers a rare opportunity to experience world-class musicians specialising in Chinese traditional instruments. Presented at St George’s Bristol, the programme is designed to suit the hall’s celebrated acoustic clarity, creating an intimate and immersive listening experience. The concert features a compelling blend of traditional repertoire and newly composed works, showcasing how ancient musical traditions can be reimagined in a contemporary context.
