Dive deeper into our awe-inspiring exhibition at a British Sign Language tour on its themes and inspirations, led by artist Rubbena Aurangzeb-Tariq. One of the most influential artists of our time, Anish Kapoor returns to the Hayward Gallery, where he staged his first major UK survey almost 30 years ago. Kapoor’s exhibition fills the entire gallery building with a series of immersive works, many of which press against the gallery walls and floors or descend from the ceiling to create an uncanny sensation of awe and wonder. Venture into this world of mystery at our major exhibition, featuring sculptures and paintings that provoke the senses, in a BSL tour led by Aurangzeb-Tariq. Aurangzeb-Tariq is a London-based artist and facilitator whose work concerns culture, deaf identity and, as a deaf woman of Pakistani heritage, the multi-faceted nature of being a ‘minority within a minority’. Through painting and installations, she creates visual representations of language and emotional expression through her use of colour and form. She has exhibited widely nationally and internationally and has featured on national TV.
