Armed with big dreams and an even bigger personality, Blodwen leaves rural Wales to chase the “as seen on TV” version of success in the big smoke: skyscrapers, cocktail bars and pencil skirts. But when the shine begins to wear off, she finds herself longing for a very different kind of life — sailboats, salopettes and the freedom of the open sea. Written and performed by Welsh artist Emily Davis, Blodwen Rocks the Boat is a riotously funny one-woman musical comedy packed with hilarious characters, sharp observations, original songs and effortless warmth. Whether you have worked in an office, questioned the daily grind or simply dreamed of escaping it all, Blodwen’s uplifting journey towards choosing her own path is sure to strike a chord. Directed by Paulus The Cabaret Geek and featuring original music by Andy Campbell Smith, Winston Eade, Gavin Brock and James Hall, the show enjoyed a hit run at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and now returns to London following a regional tour.
