The London Society and Liberty are delighted to invite you to a special morning at Liberty’s Regent Street flagship store. In commemoration of the brand’s 150th anniversary, the event will celebrate the launch of the latest interior fabric and wallpaper collection, The House of Liberty. Since 1875, Liberty has become synonymous with the city its shop stands in, shaping tastes, championing craftsmanship, and influencing generations of designers. In the spirit of its founder, Sir Arthur Lasenby Liberty, Liberty remains unapologetically eccentric and at the heart of today’s creative community. Set within the Liberty design studio, this intimate gathering offers a rare opportunity to experience Liberty’s legacy in its most authentic setting. We will be joined by Genevieve Bennett, Head of Interiors & Home, who has led the relaunch of the interiors category since 2020. Drawing on her deep expertise in pattern, materials and manufacturing, Genevieve will share insights into the thinking behind the collection alongside exclusive access to artworks discovered in Liberty’s renowned 60,000-piece archive. This will be a relaxed and conversational evening and a chance to explore design, craftsmanship and heritage with a small group of invited guests. Numbers are limited to ensure an intimate experience. Ticket price includes a glass of fizz on arrival. We very much hope you can join us. Work in interiors? We’d love to welcome you as our guest. Email [email protected] to request a complimentary ticket.
Not the same tradition as the lineage above — a genuinely different thread to pull, if you want one.
