Windrush Stories: Portraits & Voices is a performance-led, intergenerational heritage project connecting primary school pupils with Windrush Generation elders across London and Luton. Through verbatim theatre, portrait photography and oral history, young people respond creatively to stories of migration, resilience and hope. The project builds on ABC's award-winning Windrush Portraits photography project (2023) and three previous Windrush programmes dating back to 2014. The exhibition, presented in our Lower Foyer, features: Portraits of Windrush Generation elders, photographed by Steve Bright Poetry and creative responses by participating children Documentary footage by TeamSASS Productions Accessibility BSL interpretation Audio description Dyslexia-friendly materials Free entry
