Thursday 06 August at 12:30pm | The Story of France | An exploration of the history of France, using the impressive collection of French art and sculpture at the Burrell, while also highlighting other European treasures which reflect how France has been seen by its neighbours. Thursday 13 August at 12:30 | Dynasties: China’s great emperors and nobles | The story of the great figures who shaped China’s history, including Qin Shi Huang Di, the emperor of the Terracotta Warriors, and China’s only female Emperor, the beautiful and ruthless Wu Zetian. Thursday 20 August at 12:30pm | Theseus and the Minotaur | The Golden Age of Ancient Greece as told in stories from mythology as well as the real objects in the Burrell Collection.
