This workshop is now fully booked, but you can still bring your class to the Fairy Tales exhibition on a self-guided visit. Take your pupils on a magical adventure in an interactive exhibition at the Library all about fairy tales! Explore enchanted lands, magical objects, iconic characters and timeless tales, brought to life through books, costumes, puppets, pop-ups, artwork and illustrations. Your group will be:investigating what makes a good fairy talelistening to a fairytale told by our storytellerenjoying a self-guided experience in the exhibition space.From the deep dark forest to the royal palace, embark on a journey through a fairy tale world. Enter the tempting but terrible gingerbread house, tell the genie your three wishes, smell the wicked witch’s potions and lots more. With interactive displays, theatrical design, story sharing spaces, costumes, activities, and plenty of surprises, learners can dive into the stories they love and find some new favourites. And if you think you know fairy tales, think again!
